Raguthra Studios is a small team of storytellers, builders, and button-clickers making narrative-driven games with heart, brains, and the occasional existential crisis.
We like exploring small moments that say a lot, and we care a lot about characters. The awkward ones, the stubborn ones, the ones who talk too much. Our games lean into story, world-building, and a bit of structural chaos (the fun kind, mostly). We don’t do jump scares or crank up difficulty just to prove a point - we’re more interested in mood, meaning, and letting players find their own way through.
We're not here to chase trends or crunch ourselves into dust. We're building games (and a studio) that reflect the kind of creative space we actually want to be in: thoughtful, collaborative, and proudly indie.

Raguthra began, as all good things do, as a story told over text chat about a group of townsfolk blindly worshipping a mysterious entity called “The Eye of Raguthra.”
The tale spiralled, as these things tend to do, and soon we had an entire Raguthra universe. The eyeball gained sentience (and tentacles), briefly served as an oracle, and eventually became our logo.
But behind the jokes and worldbuilding, Raguthra Studios was born from something real: the belief that you can build something creative, meaningful, and a little weird — without burning out or breaking down in the process.
So here we are. Dreamers, creators and problem-solvers, making games on our own terms.
We post updates on all the major social channels, but we're loving Threads in particular.
